→ Fix: Wipe both with a rag. Oil or dust = slippage.

Mistake #2: Not seating the bit fully.
→ Fix: Insert the bit all the way, then pull it back 1/16” before tightening. This relieves stress on the collet.

Mistake #3: Overtightening the collet.
→ Fix: Tighten with one wrench (not two). Use firm pressure — not brute force.
